Three big trades are made for the Green Bay Packers in this mock draft.

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst has made a number of draft-day trades already in his first couple of years in the role. With that in mind, this three-round mock draft features multiple trades for the Packers.

Moving around the draft board allows Gutekunst to target specific players at positions of need, while not reaching or risking missing out on a prospect. While the Packers are picking at the bottom of each round, they do have the benefit of owning 10 picks in total. This gives them some added flexibility when it comes to offering trades around the league.

To create this mock draft, I used The Draft Network’s mock draft machine. The premium version allows you to make trade offers, which is the tool I used to move around in each round. My goal was to address the Packers’ biggest needs while being willing to move up or down in order to make that happen.

As the mock draft played out, if there was a prospect still available who I thought would be a good fit, I’d consider offering a trade to move up. Some offers were turned down, others accepted.

It was a fun exercise. Here are my results.
