The Green Bay Packers have 10 picks in this year’s draft.

The 2020 NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday. The Green Bay Packers are scheduled to begin their draft with the 30th overall pick, although that could change should they agree on a trade deal either up or down the order with another team.

The Packers own a total of 10 picks in this year’s draft, which is the good news, but the bad news is that many of those picks are in the final two rounds. Half of Green Bay’s selections are in the sixth round or later. There will be added pressure to hit on a couple of their early-round picks.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise to see Green Bay ranked in the bottom half of Tankathon’s NFL Draft power rankings, which is determined by the total value of each team’s picks.

Below, you’ll find each of the Packers’ 2020 draft picks:

  • Round 1 (30 overall)
  • Round 2 (62)
  • Round 3 (94)
  • Round 4 (136)
  • Round 5 (175)
  • Round 6 (192) – from Las Vegas Raiders
  • Round 6 (208) – from Tennessee Titans
  • Round 6 (209)
  • Round 7 (236) – from Buffalo Bills via Cleveland Browns
  • Round 7 (242) – from Baltimore Ravens

The Packers also had the 30th overall pick in last year’s draft, which they used to trade up to the 21st spot to select safety Darnell Savage. Will general manager Brian Gutekunst look to make a similar move in the early rounds this week?

Given Gutekunst’s approach to the draft in recent years when it comes to trades, one possible scenario would be for the Packers trade down from No. 30, receiving a mid-round pick or two in return, which could later be packaged together in a trade up.

But we’ll see. The Packers will have to wait a while on Day 1 unless they make a big move up the order, but they should still be able to address positions of need including wide receiver and offensive tackle.
