The Packers made a shocking decision trading up for a quarterback. After an unexpected move, who are the best remaining players for the Packers in rounds two and three?

Night one of the 2020 NFL Draft went fast and furious. With most NFL decision-makers isolated away from their scouting staff and only able to virtually communicate, the picks came quickly.

The biggest shock of the night has to be the Green Bay Packers trading up with the Miami Dolphins from 30 to 26 to take quarterback Jordan Love.

With so many other options available for Green Bay that could help the team this year, it’s a bit of a head-scratcher why the Packers would do this. As it is, the Packers have a player they feel could be the heir apparent to Aaron Rodgers or at least a solid backup the next couple years.

As dumbfounded as I am, as I’m sure many of you are, the Packers will still have two more choices on Friday night.

You’d have to figure one of those two picks will be a wide receiver, but after the strange trade up for Love, there’s no telling what will happen.

The Packers are in a tricky position with their picks at the end of each round and having just traded a fourth-round pick to move up in the first. They may have to give up future picks if they’d want to move up again.

Here’s a look at some players that could be available late in the second round.
