Early Green Bay Packers 53-man roster predictions after the 2020 NFL Draft.

There is some uncertainty about when teams will be able to practice and if training camp or even the regular season will begin on time. But as of right now, we’ll assume the season will begin in September as planned. And with the conclusion of the 2020 NFL Draft, we can now look ahead to how the Green Bay Packers‘ roster may look at the start of the season.

The majority of the offseason additions have now been made. While the Packers could, and absolutely should, continue to add players at positions of need via free agency or even trades, the roster today won’t look all that different once the season begins.

The new collective bargaining agreement now means that two practice squad players can be promoted to the 53-man roster each week, effectively making it a 55-man roster. But for this article, we’re going to stick to the 53 players that make the active roster after the final cuts are made in September.

So, after a quiet free agency period and an interesting draft, to put it one way, we can now look ahead to the beginning of the 2020 season. Who will make the initial 53-man roster? Here are my early predictions for the Packers.
