Packers 2020 schedule: Ranking easiest to hardest games
8. Houston Texans
The Packers won’t have to worry about covering DeAndre Hopkins when they meet the Texans this season. Houston still has a lot of offensive talent, though, led by star quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Texans did strengthen their defensive line early in the draft. However, this wasn’t a great offseason by the Texans and the Packers should view this as a winnable contest.
7. Indianapolis Colts
One team to watch in 2020 will be the Indianapolis Colts. Philip Rivers will lead the way after signing with Indianapolis this offseason, and the Colts have surrounded him with talent, drafting Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor. They also selected wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to pair with T.Y. Hilton.
6. Philadelphia Eagles
Some similarities can be drawn between the Packers and Eagles. Both teams selected backup quarterbacks in the first two rounds of the draft, and both teams entered the draft with a big need at wide receiver. The difference is that Philadelphia drafted three, including first-round pick Jalen Reagor.
5. Tennessee Titans
A playoff team a year ago, the Titans will be tough to beat again in 2020. Matt LaFleur will get the chance to take on his former team and head coach. The biggest concern will be for Green Bay’s run defense, which ranked No. 23 last season, having to face Derrick Henry and rookie Darrynton Evans.
