The Green Bay Packers have five primetime games on the 2020 schedule.

The Packers are a popular choice for primetime games. They have a rich history, a huge fan base, an all-world quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, and last season went 13-3 and were one game away from the Super Bowl.

It’s no surprise to see the Packers set to be featured in five primetime games this season. On Thursday evening, the NFL released the 2020 schedule in full.

Below is a full list of the Packers’ scheduled primetime games for the 2020 season:

  • Week 3: at New Orleans Saints (Sunday Night Football, September 27)
  • Week 4: vs. Atlanta Falcons (Monday Night Football, October 5)
  • Week 9: at San Francisco 49ers (Thursday Night Football, November 5)
  • Week 12: vs. Chicago Bears (Sunday Night Football, November 29)
  • Week 16: vs. Tennessee Titans (Sunday Night Football, December 27)

There are some big games featured there.

The clash against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints will be a big challenge, just two weeks after visiting the Minnesota Vikings. Talk about a tough start to the season for the Packers. This game will be played on Sunday Night Football.

A week later, Green Bay returns home to host the Atlanta Falcons. They’ll have an additional day of rest as the game is played on Monday Night Football.

Perhaps the biggest test of the season comes in Week 9. Just days after hosting the Vikings, the Packers will travel to Levi’s Stadium to take on the NFC-champion San Francisco 49ers.

On Thanksgiving weekend, Green Bay will host the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football.

Finally, the Matt LaFleur Bowl will take place just after Christmas at Lambeau Field. The Packers host LaFleur’s former team, the Tennessee Titans. Both teams lost in their respective championship games last season, and it should make for an interesting contest.

One game missing is a rare clash between Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. The Packers visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, October 18 at 9:25 p.m. CT.
