Week 14: at Detroit Lions

Ford Field has been a tough place for the Packers to visit in recent years. Green Bay is 3-4 at Detroit over the past seven seasons. One of those victories was on a Hail Mary. Last season, even with just about every Lions starter injured, the Packers escaped with a walk-off field goal to win and give them a first-round bye in the playoffs. With an improved run game and a healthy Matthew Stafford, the Lions pull off the upset. Detroit 27, Green Bay 21 (8-5)

Week 15: Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers used every draft pick on defense, which isn’t surprising as they were fourth-worst against the run last season. Even with their new additions, their run defense will be tested against Green Bay’s backfield featuring Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, and Jamaal Williams. The Packers win at Lambeau Field. Green Bay 24, Carolina 17 (9-5)

Week 16: Tennessee Titans

Earlier this week, I wrote that this could be a trap game for the Packers. The Tennessee Titans’ ground game featuring Derrick Henry and Darrynton Evans is a cause for concern for the Packers run defense. The game is in Green Bay, but the Titans’ dominant run game helps them pull off the road win. Tennessee 17, Green Bay 14 (9-6)

Week 17: at Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are hoping their defense can carry them once again, with Nick Foles providing some consistency on offense. Green Bay has won nine of its past 10 games at Soldier Field and I expect this dominance to continue this season. The Packers continue their great recent road record against the Bears. Green Bay 24, Chicago 14 (10-6)

Final 2020 record: 10-6
