In Week 11, the Packers will meet the Colts on the road.

Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck battled at Lambeau Field four years ago, with the visitors taking the victory.

Luck has since retired and the Indianapolis Colts have brought in Philip Rivers to replace him.

In what should an interesting contest, the Green Bay Packers will need to be at their best to get the road win over the Colts in Week 11.

Last season

The Colts were considered strong contenders in the AFC in the offseason after reaching the divisional round in 2018. But after battling multiple injuries throughout his career, Andrew Luck made the surprising decision to retire ahead of the new season.

Jacoby Brissett became the starting quarterback and the Colts went 7-9 in the regular season, finishing third in the AFC South and missing out on the playoffs.

When is the game?

This game will take place in Week 11 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The date is Sunday, Nov. 22 with kickoff at 12:00 p.m. CT.

Offseason additions

The Colts have put together a strong offseason. Their biggest decision was to sign quarterback Philip Rivers, an eight-time Pro Bowler who will search for his first championship in Indianapolis.

And they wasted little time surrounding Rivers with more talent. They selected wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. with their first of two second-round picks, before drafting Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor later in the round. Alongside receiver T.Y. Hilton, both players can help the Colts offense take a big step forward.

The Colts also strengthened their defense by trading for All-Pro defensive tackle DeForest Buckner.

Last meeting with Packers

November 6, 2016: Colts won 31-26 at Lambeau Field

Player to watch

Jonathan Taylor: Many Packers fans will know a lot about Taylor already after he spent the past three seasons at Wisconsin. And his numbers were simply outstanding. He rushed for 6,174 yards and 50 touchdowns in just three seasons, going over 2,000 yards on the ground in each of the past two seasons. He also added 407 yards and five touchdowns as a pass-catcher.

Taylor could be the star player in the Colts offense, and the Packers’ run defense will need to perform much better than last season to be able to stop him.
