New Orleans Saints: WR Michael Thomas

The NFC South has an embarrassment of riches at the wide receiver position. I could’ve easily decided to add Julio Jones from the Falcons or one of Mike Evans or Chris Godwin from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But Michael Thomas is the best receiver in the NFL. Adding him to Green Bay’s offense would be simply unfair for other teams.

Thomas has been a first-team All-Pro the past two years and a Pro Bowler in each of the past three seasons. In 2019, he set a new NFL single-season record for receptions, catching an incredible 149 passes for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns.

Defenses would have nightmares trying to stop the Aaron Rodgers-to-Thomas connection, and that’s before we even mention the other star wide receiver on the team, Davante Adams. Thomas and Adams would form an all-time great receiving tandem and they’d be catching passes from a future Hall-of-Famer.

Need at wide receiver? No more. With Thomas and Adams dominating the targets, and with Allen Lazard, Devin Funchess, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling providing depth, the Packers would have a dominant wide receiver corps.

The Saints have star players across their roster but this was an easy choice. Thomas to the Packers would be a championship-winning move.
