4. Justin Jefferson puts up 1,000 yards in rookie season

If you were hoping to see Justin Jefferson selected by the Packers in the first round, you’re not alone. And if you were equally as disappointed to see him land with the Minnesota Vikings well, I can relate. Unfortunately, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Jefferson is one of the best receivers in a historically deep class and has the chance to make a great start to his NFL career in 2020.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah believes Jefferson could be an upgrade over Stefon Diggs, who the Vikings traded to the Buffalo Bills this offseason. That’s a big statement as Diggs is a star receiver who had a lot of success in Minnesota, especially against Green Bay.

Jefferson is arguably the most pro-ready receiver of this year’s class, and that will be great news for the Vikings offense. And with so much attention given to Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen by opposing defenses, Jefferson could dominate in year one, particularly in the slot.

Jefferson finished with 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final year at LSU. He has the talent to make a fast start in the NFL and put together a 1,000-yard rookie season just like another former LSU receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.
