1. Packers retain NFC North crown

No team has retained their NFC North crown since the Packers won a fourth consecutive division title back in 2014. Since then, the Vikings have won the NFC North twice, the Bears once, and also the Packers twice. But this division finally gets some continuity at the top with the Packers retaining their NFC North title, giving Matt LaFleur a perfect start to his head coaching career in Green Bay.

The Vikings seem to be the popular choice after the offseason, but it’s easy to forget some of the talent they’ve had to replace this past spring including Stefon Diggs, Linval Joseph, and Everson Griffen.

The Bears will be hoping Nick Foles is the answer at quarterback which, as I wrote earlier, I don’t think will be the case. And while the Lions could be a much-improved team, they’re still not ready to win their first NFC North title.

Despite all of the criticism the Packers have received for their offseason work, they still remain the team to beat in the NFC North. They swept their rivals a year ago and have a good chance to put together another strong record within the division.
