Four moves the Packers should make before the 2020 season begins.

In two months, the Green Bay Packers are scheduled to kick-off their 2020 regular season against the Minnesota Vikings. We don’t yet know how the preseason will look — whether it’s two games or none at all — or even if the regular season will begin on time. But it’s scheduled to do so, and in the meantime, the Packers need to prepare for the new football season. Today, we’ll look at four moves general manager Brian Gutekunst needs to make.

As ever, we won’t know whether the Packers have properly addressed their biggest positions of need until the season begins. Will the new additions in free agency and the draft make an impact? Will the team get second- and third-year jumps from players already on the roster? Will there be any surprise performances or breakout stars? And which positions will become needs that we don’t currently view as areas for concern?

Before then, we can make predictions. Based on their offseason work, it still feels like they haven’t quite done enough. So how can the Packers improve before the new season? With training camp just a few weeks away, now is the time to make some additions to the roster.

Here are four moves the Packers need to make this summer.
