Training camp officially starts for the Green Bay Packers on July 28. Here is a 53-man roster prediction for the 2020 season before camp gets rolling.

The Green Bay Packers are entering the 2020 season as the reigning NFC North champions and were just a game away from the Super Bowl last year after finishing the season 13-3. Matt LaFleur will be entering his second season as the head coach and will be looking to prove that 2019 was no fluke.

This will be the second season of the new offense, which will hopefully mean the offense will be smoother and more efficient than last season. GM Brian Gutekunst and LaFleur were also able to complete their second draft to bring in players that will fit their system better. They may not have had the flashiest or highest-graded draft, but it was clear what they were trying to do, get bigger, and commit to the run.

The defense will look to take another step forward and become one of the better defenses in the league. The Smith brothers made huge impacts last year and former first-round pick Rashan Gary could be poised for a big breakout year.

In anticipation of the upcoming 2020 season, here’s a way-too-early 53-man roster prediction before the rookies and veterans report to camp on July 28. We’ll start with the quarterbacks.
