Packers pre-training camp 53-man roster predictions
Cornerbacks (6)
Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Chandon Sullivan, Josh Jackson, Ka’dar Hollman, Stanford Samuels
The cornerback group will be very similar to last year. The exception will be veteran Tramon Williams, who wasn’t re-signed. The starting corners, Jaire Alexander and Kevin King, will be back. Alexander will hopefully continue his upward trend towards becoming one of the best corners in the league.
Behind the starting duo will be Chandon Sullivan who made some nice plays last season. Hopefully, something will click for Josh Jackson this year. The former second-round pick is still trying to find a way to make an impact on this defense and live up to his expectations coming out of college. Ka’dar Hollman will be entering his second season and will be looking to make more of an impact as well.
Finally, Stanford Samuels joins the Packers as an undrafted rookie. He had a nice season last year at Florida State, but his rough combine performance caused him to fall in the draft. He is tall, but a smooth player who could be a nice developmental player for the Packers. He may be the type of player that the Packers keep on the roster because he won’t make it to the practice squad.
Cut: Kabion Ento*, DaShaun Amos, Marc-Antoine Dequoy, Will Sunderland
