Safeties (4)

Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage, Will Redmond, Raven Greene

Like the cornerbacks, this safety unit didn’t change much. Adrian Amos had a great first year with the Packers, providing a steady presence in the secondary. Darnell Savage made a lot of nice plays last season, but the Packers will be looking for him to be a playmaker this year. These two have their spots locked in to start the season.

Will Redmond made his presence known on special teams last season as well on defense. He will have a spot on this team as well. Raven Greene was slated to be a big part of the defense last season as the nickel linebacker. He was injured in the second game of the year and didn’t make it back. He will look to get that spot back this season.

In the seventh round, the Packers took Vernon Scott out of TCU. I have him as one of my last players off the team. I think he is a prime candidate to join the practice squad.

Cut: Vernon Scott*, Henry Black, Frankie Griffin

Special teams (3)

Mason Crosby, JK Scott, Hunter Bradley

These three have their spots likely cemented. Currently, there are no other players at their position on the roster.

*12th practice squad spot will go to a player currently not on the roster.
