Predicting the Packers’ Week 1 starting lineup.

The Green Bay Packers‘ regular season is set to begin on the road against the Minnesota Vikings in less than two months. After an unusual offseason due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is also a lot of uncertainty when it comes to the Packers’ starting lineup.

After an offseason program held virtually, as well as the draft, the players will finally return for training camp at the end of the month. As ever, there will be competition for not only spots on the roster, but also a position in the Week 1 starting lineup. And with the possibility of no preseason, or at least a shortened preseason, performing well in practice will be key throughout the summer.

In this article, I’m making my predictions for how the Packers’ starting lineup will look in Week 1 when they take on the Vikings. Some positions are easy to work out such as quarterback and left tackle, but at many other positions, there will be competition for starting jobs.

As the opening game is against the Vikings, this also impacted my choices. For example, the Vikings have a run-first offense, so I picked three defensive linemen instead of two, which the Packers often go with to start games.

Here are my predictions for Green Bay’s starters in Week 1.
