Offensive line (10) – 30/53

There will be competition for roster spots along the offensive line after the Packers added three more linemen via the draft.

One of the top positional battles at training camp will be for the starting right guard spot between Billy Turner and Lane Taylor. I’ve gone with Taylor winning the job and Turner being one of the Packers’ top backups with the versatility to line up at multiple positions.

Four of the starting positions are set, giving the Packers one of the league’s best offensive lines in 2020. David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, and Corey Linsley are among the best at their respective positions, while Rick Wagner should be a solid starter replacing Bryan Bulaga at right tackle.

Lucas Patrick makes the roster as a backup center and guard, while draft picks Jon Runyan and Jake Hanson also make the 53.

While Alex Light did struggle when he played last season, I’ve got him making the roster because of his versatility, but I’m not particularly confident that he’ll make the 53. Yosh Nijman and John Leglue will compete for a backup tackle spot ahead of Light.

Sixth-round pick Simon Stepaniak misses out on the initial 53 but would be a candidate for the practice squad.
