Secondary (10) – 53/53

Jaire Alexander (CB), Kevin King (CB), Chandon Sullivan (CB), Josh Jackson (CB), Ka’dar Hollman (CB), Stanford Samuels (CB), Adrian Amos (S), Darnell Savage (S), Raven Greene (S), Will Redmond (S)

Overall, the Packers’ secondary should be strong in 2020, but there are some questions to be answered at the cornerback position.

With Tramon Williams still not re-signed, there is a lot of uncertainty once you get beyond the two starters on the depth chart. Jaire Alexander and Kevin King give the Packers a strong starting duo on the outside, but who will play in the slot? Is Josh Jackson ready for a bigger role this season? Can Ka’dar Hollman make a jump in year two?

Outside of Alexander and King, this is an inexperienced cornerback room. Undrafted free agent Stanford Samuels makes my 53-man roster. The reduced roster size could make it difficult for undrafted rookies, but given the lack of depth at cornerback, the Packers should give Samuels an opportunity.

The depth at safety is much stronger.

Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage should get even better in their second season in Mike Pettine’s defense. Savage can be a star in this defense.

If Raven Greene is healthy, he can be the top backup at safety. Rookie Vernon Scott misses out, with the Packers opting for the experience of Will Redmond, who played the sixth-highest number of special teams snaps for Green Bay in 2019, according to Pro Football Reference.
