NFC South

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-6)*
  2. New Orleans Saints (10-6)*
  3. Atlanta Falcons (7-9)
  4. Carolina Panthers (6-10)

The Packers will meet all four NFC South teams in 2020.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be a fun team to watch this season. The focus will be on their offense after signing Tom Brady in free agency then trading for Rob Gronkowski, who is coming out of retirement. But don’t forget about the defense.

Tampa Bay had the NFL’s number one rushing defense last season, allowing just 73.8 yards per game on the ground. The unit could be top-10 overall this year, and it now has an offense that can protect the football and stay on the field. Can Brady still play at a high level? That’s the big question, but he couldn’t ask for a better supporting cast.

It’s another tiebreaker at the top of the division, with the Buccaneers just getting the edge ahead of the New Orleans Saints. The Saints brought back three-time Pro Bowl safety Malcolm Jenkins and signed wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. They’re going all-in for another championship, and it should lead to a great playoff race with the Bucs.

The Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers both fall short of the playoffs, but the NFC South sends two teams to the postseason. Both the Buccaneers and Saints are among the strongest teams in the NFC this year.
