A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers news for Monday, Sept. 7.

Welcome to the Packers news today.

It’s officially Week 1 of the 2020 regular season. In just six more days, the Green Bay Packers visit U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings.

After an unusual few months with no offseason program, no preseason games, then a shortened training camp, it feels strange that the season is finally here. But isn’t it great to have Packers football back?

It’s been nine months since the Packers last visited U.S. Bank Stadium. Not only did they secure their first victory in that stadium, but by doing so they regained the NFC North title after three seasons.

As head coach of the Packers, Matt LaFleur will be hoping to remain undefeated against NFC North teams. With victory this week, his record versus the division would improve to 7-0.
