When speaking of dominant performances, you can’t leave out Davante Adams. Adams took the Vikings’ young corners to school on his way to a team record-tying 14 catches. From the slot, out wide, off a play fake, it did not matter. Adams did what he wanted.

Adams wasn’t flawless as he dropped a sure touchdown but he more than made up for that with his play in the game.

Adams vs. Xavier Rhodes was always a premier matchup when these two teams faced. Until last year, it was a matchup that usually favored Rhodes. So he had to be happy when he saw Rhodes leave for the Indianapolis Colts this offseason.

Adams put together two huge games against the Vikings last year and continued that trend in this game. Cameron Dantzler and Holton Hill did their best but it wasn’t enough to stop Adams from having a monster day.

When Rodgers needed someone to come through it was Adams that did. One of the bigger plays of the game was not either of Adams’ two touchdowns but his big 38-yard catch with just under five minutes to go, setting up the Packers’ final score.

Adams and Rodgers looked to be completely in-sync and that bodes well for the Packers.
