Three reasons why the Packers will beat the Lions in Week 2.

For the second week in a row, the Green Bay Packers take on a division rival. After defeating the Minnesota Vikings with an impressive performance in last week’s opener, the Packers now host the Detroit Lions, aiming to maintain their undefeated record with a couple of key divisional victories.

Some tough games await the Packers in the coming weeks, including matchups with the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Houston Texans. Divisional games are never easy, but on paper, a home game with the Lions looks like one the Packers need to win, especially given the tough matchups coming up soon.

In Matt LaFleur’s first season, Green Bay dominated against NFC North opponents with a perfect win-loss record. By winning both games against the Lions, the Packers ended a four-game losing streak and then secured consecutive victories over the Lions for the first time since 2016.

A big game for both teams, Green Bay looks to build on last week’s success while Detroit aims to put a heartbreaking defeat to one side and bounce back with victory at Lambeau Field.

I’m picking the home team to win this game. Here are three reasons why the Packers will beat the Lions in Week 2.
