The Packers offense was able to get moving just before half and kept that momentum after the half. The defense started off slow but turned it around, starting in the second quarter and leading into the second half of the game.

One of the key plays to that turn around was Chandon Sullivan‘s pick-six to put the Packers up 31-14 in the third quarter.

After the offense stalled out on their second drive of the second half, JK Scott pinned the Lions deep in their own territory with a beautiful sideline punt. Sullivan then made the Lions and Stafford pay, jumping a sideline rout intended for Danny Amendola and taking it back for the score.

On the very next drive, Sullivan tipped another pass intended for Amendola on a third-and-1, forcing a Lions punt.

Sullivan is taking the next step in his game and becoming a reliable player for the Packers. The team took a pass at re-signing Tramon Williams this past offseason and now Sullivan is showing us why.

There still may be hard times ahead for Sullivan, but for now, he is another solid piece in the Packers secondary that will keep getting better as the season progresses. This secondary is young and as talented as any I can remember from recent history in Green Bay.
