The Packers are third in the NFL Spin Zone Week 3 power rankings.

Another win, another impressive performance by the Green Bay Packers.

After putting up 40 points for the second time in a row, the Packers have established themselves not just as contenders within the NFC North, but they look like one of the best teams in the entire league through two games.

Randy Gurzi’s Week 3 power rankings for NFL Spin Zone are out, and the Packers continue to their rise towards the top. In his Week 3 rankings, Green Bay is up to third, first among all NFC teams. Only the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs are higher.

And deservedly so. Matt LaFleur’s offense has been even more impressive than the Ravens’ or Chiefs’ so far this season.

Only one team in the league is averaging more than 500 yards of offense per game. I’ll give you a hint: it’s the Packers.

Green Bay also leads the league in rushing. When was the last time we could say that? Aaron Jones was simply unstoppable against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

To find the next NFC North team in the power rankings, you need to go all the way down to No. 14, where you’ll find the Chicago Bears. Despite entering Week 3 also undefeated, the Bears haven’t looked anywhere close to as strong as the Packers so it’s not surprising to see the difference in the rankings.

After a second straight loss, the Minnesota Vikings are all the way down in 17th position. Considered NFC North favorites by many going into the season, it’s not been the start expected by Mike Zimmer’s team.

The Detroit Lions are 24th after their loss at Lambeau Field. Going back to last season, the Lions have now lost 11 in a row.

As far as the NFL Spin Zone power rankings go, the Packers are currently the best team in the NFC.
