3. Adrian Amos

As important as Krys Barnes will be for the second level of the defense, Adrian Amos will be just a vital to the last line of the defense.

Since coming over from Chicago, Amos has been short on game-changing plays but has been a steady player keeping the secondary in order. He has been the veteran influence the Packers have needed and though short on game-winning moments, he has been big on leadership.

Despite coming off a bye, the secondary is is banged up. Jaire Alexander was limited with hand and knee injuries, Kevin King was a DNP with a quad injury and Chandon Sullivan is coming off a concussion. Though he was a full participant, head injuries are tricky in their own right and though it looks as though he has been cleared, Sullivan may have to fill in for King away from his normal nickel spot.

That means the secondary could either be filled with inexperience and youth or players playing at less than full strength.

Against Brady, that could be a recipe for disaster. If Amos can hold this unit together and help slow down a high-powered attack, that should give the offense all they need to get out to a lead.
