The Packers have activated Equanimeous St. Brown from IR.

The Green Bay Packers are getting some more help at wide receiver.

Not only will Davante Adams make his return from injury tomorrow afternoon against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but Equanimeous St. Brown is also ready to play.

The Packers announced on Saturday that they have activated St. Brown from injured reserve, which means he can play tomorrow afternoon.

St. Brown hasn’t played in a regular season game since 2018. If he’s out there on Sunday, it’d be he his first under head coach Matt LaFleur. EQ didn’t play in the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings and was put on IR with a knee injury the following week.

After now missing the past three games — which is the minimum requirement for injured reserve this season — he returns at the earliest possible date.

With Allen Lazard still on IR, it would be a surprise if St. Brown doesn’t play at some point in tomorrow’s game. He’ll likely be eased back into action, but St. Brown has the talent to take on a similar role to Lazard in LaFleur’s offense.

Earlier this week, the Packers designated both St. Brown and rookie inside linebacker Kamal Martin to return from injured reserve. This gave the team a three-week window to evaluate them both at practice before deciding whether to activate them. For EQ, this means he returns after missing only three games.

The wait for Martin’s return goes on a little longer. That shouldn’t come as a surprise as he was expected to miss around two months, so we might not see him in action for another week or two.

The Packers have the No. 1 scoring offense so far this season. This week, they get even better with Adams and St. Brown back out there.
