The Packers are 4-0 coming off their bye but the Buccaneers will be ready to play.

The Green Bay Packers are off to a somewhat surprising 4-0 start. Even though they went 13-3 last year, they were the team picked by many to be a regression candidate. Through four games this season, Green Bay is looking like a top team in the NFL, certainly in the NFC.

This Tampa Bay Buccaneers team is pretty close to a complete team that you can get. They’ve got the star QB, decent O-line, great receivers, and a very good defense. Coming into this season I thought that this Tampa Bay team was going to go through a lot of growing pains; that still may be the case but they are looking like a team that will be playing in January.

Tom Brady and the rest of the Buccaneers offense has had some success this season. However, I fee that this Tampa Bay defense is what is really going to give the Packers a tough time.

The Buccaneers have a phenomenal rush defense which has them second best in the league. While having no Vita Vea is a huge loss, this Buccaneers defensive line still has studs all over it, with Jason Pierre-Paul, Ndamukong Suh, and Shaq Barrett, last year’s sack leader.

Not only do they have a great rush defense but they also are able to get to the QB with relative ease. They also have one of the best one-two punches at inside linebacker with superstar Lavonte David and rising star Devin White.

The one issue the Buccaneers do have on defense is the pass defense. They rank towards the bottom of the league in terms of yards given up. Even though they may not rank very high, they absolutely have some ballers in that defensive backfield. Carlton Davis is having his best season, Sean Murphy-Bunting is also playing well, and they have Antione Winfield Jr., who looks like a rising player in this league.

A couple of positives for Green Bay is that stars Kenny Clark and Davante Adams are making their returns to the field this week. The Packers will also have Equanimeous St Brown active in a regular-season game for the first time since 2018.

This should be a great game, and maybe even game of the year contender but I feel that the Packers may have to play their best game of the season on both sides of the ball if they want to win.
