Fantasy start/sit advice for the Packers in Week 7.

Which Green Bay Packers players can you trust in fantasy football lineups this week?

Last week’s disappointing performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will still be at the back of managers’ minds, but let’s not forget how dominant the offense was prior to Week 6.

Expect a bounce-back game for the Packers, which should lead to plenty of confidence in fantasy football.

Start

Aaron Rodgers: If there’s one concern, it’s that Houston’s run defense is so bad that Green Bay won’t need to pass. But there should be more than enough opportunities for Rodgers to find the end zone and he’ll be determined to bounce back after last week.

Aaron Jones (questionable, calf injury): Houston ranks last in the NFL in run defense. You would start Jones anyway, but if he’s healthy, he could be the No. 1 RB in fantasy this week. Pay close attention to his game status and if Jamaal Williams is available, be sure to pick him up as a cover.

Jamaal Williams (if Jones is out): If Jones is out, put Williams in your lineup with confidence. AJ Dillon could see an increase in snaps, but it will be Williams’ backfield should Jones miss the game. Williams would likely see 15-plus touches including plenty of work in the receiving game and, as mentioned earlier, you won’t find a better matchup.

Davante Adams: Adams will be targeted a ton this week as he usually is. According to Fantasy Pros, the Texans are allowing 26.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers (half-PPR). Expect a big day for Adams.

Robert Tonyan: Rodgers has only looked Tonyan’s way in the red zone four times this season, according to Pro Football Reference, but all four targets were caught for touchdowns. You could argue that with Allen Lazard out, Tonyan is Rodgers’ No. 2 target.

Sit

Receivers not named Davante Adams: Which wide receiver do you trust? Without Lazard available, no other receiver for the Packers has stepped up and put up consistent numbers.

Packers D/ST: You’re not trusting this defense against any offense, especially one with an elite quarterback and talented receiving corps like the Texans. Green Bay’s defense only has 11 sacks this season (18th in the NFL) and three takeaways (31st).
