Winner #4: Aaron Rodgers

I thought Aaron Rodgers played a masterful game on Sunday against Houston. The veteran QB was dealing all game, and after his awful game last week, he was looking like an MVP candidate once again.

He was targeting his number one receiver Davante Adams all day and the two of them absolutely went off and did a number on the Texans defense. Rodgers had another borderline perfect game, completing 23 of his 34 passes for 283 yards and four touchdowns.

Other than last week, Rodgers has been on a tear this year and deserves to be in the running for the league MVP award. Next week, Green Bay is playing the struggling Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers, and the Packers, lit up Minnesota in Week 1 and I don’t see why we should expect any different next week.

Final thoughts

As I have said a few times already, the Texans really are not a very good team. The Packers beating them like they did is still a positive in my eyes because good teams should beat the bad teams, plain and simple. I came into the game with a lot of confidence in Green Bay and they showed why they should still be respected as a top NFC team.
