Who are the five players to watch in the Packers’ rematch with the Vikings?

The Green Bay Packers will have their first rematch of the 2020 season. The Minnesota Vikings come to town for a repeat of their week one battle.

In that game, Davante Adams had a career day on the way to a team record-tying 14-catch day and a 43-34 Packers win.

Since that matchup, the Packers have continued rolling on offense while the Vikings have continued to take their lumps in what can only be described as a disappointing season.

The 1-5 Vikings were picked by many to be the representative of the NFC in the preseason. But injuries and a mass exodus by many talented players in the offseason have the Vikings hoping to find something to hang their hats on.

The Vikings are coming off their bye after giving the Atlanta Falcons their first win of the season.

Minnesota is being led by an interception-prone Kirk Cousins. Cousins, who has 10 interceptions already on the season, is feeling the effects of shoddy protection and bad decision making. The team spent the bye week working on ways to get Cousins to reduce his interceptions. If that translates to the field, we’ll find out Sunday.

After laying a stinker in Tampa, the Packers rebounded in a big way thrashing the Houston Texans. Adams was yet again at his best, this time racking up a new career-high in receiving yards with 196.

Will he be able to replicate his success from week one?

Here are my five players to watch.
