Packers vs. Vikings Week 8: Start time, live stream, TV info and more
How to watch Packers-Vikings in Week 8.
When the schedule was released in the spring, this was viewed a huge game between two NFC North contenders. As it happens, the Green Bay Packers are on track to retain their division title while the Minnesota Vikings need to shift their focus towards 2021.
After defeating the Vikings in the season opener, the Packers now host the second meeting between these two teams.
Here’s all you need to know for this game:
Date: Sunday, Nov. 1
Kickoff time: 12:00 p.m. CT
Location: Green Bay, WI
Stadium: Lambeau Field
TV channel: FOX
Radio: WTMJ Milwaukee/WIXX Green Bay
Live stream: NFL.com Live Stream, fuboTV
Despite the Vikings’ record, this won’t be an easy game. Mike Zimmer has often made life difficult for Aaron Rodgers. That won’t be as easy in this game due to the Vikings’ struggles defensively, but this is a divisional game in an unpredictable league. Anything can happen.
The key for head coach Matt LaFleur will be to not have one eye on Thursday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
But I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about that. LaFleur always talks about the importance of going 1-0 each week. He’s done a great job of ensuring the focus is on the game ahead and not on what’s next.
And let’s not forget that LaFleur’s incredible undefeated streak in the NFC North is on the line. Since taking over as head coach last season, the Packers have won all eight of their games against division opponents. A win on Sunday would ensure the Packers can do no worse than going 3-3 against the NFC North this year.
The two games to come against the 5-2 Chicago Bears will be important, but every divisional game counts. This is an important game for the Packers and one they need to win.
