Packers: Three winners from Week 10 win against Jaguars
By Cody Young
Davante Adams was huge down the stretch for the Packers
Winner #2: Davante Adams
With the way that Davante Adams has played this year, it seems like he can pretty much be a regular on this list. He is another player that got off to a bit of a slower start but he was a big reason why Green Bay was able to move on this Jaguars defense that was up to the task.
It was pretty clear in this game, as it is most weeks, that Adams was a little too much for these corners to keep in check. After the somewhat slow start, and even having a big fumble at one point in the game, the Packers started to feed the star wideout which is never a bad idea for this offense.
Adams caught eight balls on 12 targets for 66 yards, and caught what wound up being the game-winning touchdown, showing off his vertical leap in the process. You can argue that this was somewhat of a down game compared to what he has been doing this season.
Even when he’s not putting up 150 yards a game, he is always someone who can be relied upon in a big moment for this Green Bay Packers offense. There is always chatter about Rodgers locking on and forcing it to Adams but when you have a receiver of his caliber, I don’t see an issue with it.
