Stat line: 24/34, 325 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 1 rush TD

This was the quietest three-touchdown, 300-yard passing game Aaron Rodgers has ever had, if there is such a thing.

He wasn’t perfect and the wind affected a few of his throws, but when it came down to it, Rodgers did exactly what he needed to do to get the Packers a win.

The first quarter was slow moving for the Packers and the offense but kicked into high gear with the flip of direction on the field. With the Packers now going with the wind instead of against it, Rodgers fired a long bomb down the field to Valdes-Scantling for a 78-yard touchdown, their first score of the game.

Rodgers kept the offense rolling, putting up 17 points in the quarter, including a rushing touchdown, his first on the year.

Rodgers’ stats are right on par with his previous two MVP seasons and he should be right there in the conversation when this season ends.

He wasn’t perfect on this day but he was great on the Packers’ game-clinching touchdown drive, finishing with a beautiful catch by Adams.

It won’t get easier for Rodgers on the road ahead. Next up is the NFL’s number one defense, the Indianapolis Colts, with two more still to go against the Bears.

If Rodgers can keep his play up to the level it has been through the first half of this season, he could be bringing home his third MVP award.
