The Packers took a deflating loss to the Colts this week.

The Green Bay Packers played the Indianapolis Colts in a pretty entertaining game this week but unfortunately came up on the losing side. It was kind of a weird game for the Packers with a lot of turnovers for both teams.

It was also a tale of two halves for the Packers as they came out looking good in the first half, and then completely laid an egg in the second half. After scoring 28 points and being up two scores at halftime, Green Bay could only muster three points in the second half.

In the second half, they punted multiple times, had a turnover on downs, and then fumbled in overtime which was the nail in the coffin. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is going to be the butt of a lot of criticism this week and the fumble is the reason why.

Say what you will about MVS but he was playing well coming into this game and was a big reason why the game went into overtime. Green Bay, backed up in their own end zone, had a great 47-yard play that MVS caught which was huge in putting them in field goal position on their final drive of regulation.

This was a frustrating loss because Green Bay was in a good position to win the game at halftime. The defense definitely didn’t play well on Sunday, which is usually the case but I think the offense let them down as well, and I think that is a good place to start.
