Another week, another team that could not stop Davante Adams. Adams is making a very good case to be the best receiver in the NFL.

From the Packers’ first pass play, it was clear Adams would not be stopped. A 23-yard pass up the sideline got the Packers started in the right direction. From there, Adams would add his 10th touchdown on the year and find many different ways to beat the Colts coverage.

Adams has it all. He’s got good speed, reliable hands and is as tough as they come. Adams’ strength is also a key factor to his success. He also is contributing to the success of those around him. As defenses key in on Adams, other players are drawing single coverage.

Aaron Rodgers has had some good receivers in his time with the Packers but he has not had one like Adams. Where Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, James Jones, Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb, and James Jones had each other to feed off of, Adams is the lone target the defenses fear as a receiver.

Adams is well on his way to set new career marks for receiving yards and touchdowns despite missing two-and-a-half games because of injury.

The only negative you can say about Adams might be Rodgers’ over reliance on him.
