3. Four Packers are All-Pros for the first time

The Packers are getting a number of key contributions from star players this season. As a result, I predict four players will be named All-Pros for the first time: Jaire Alexander, Davante Adams, Elgton Jenkins, and Corey Linsley.

Alexander has taken the next step this season. He’s currently Pro Football Focus’ highest-ranked cornerback and has been for most of the year. Alexander continues to shut down star wide receivers and force quarterbacks to throw elsewhere. The way he’s playing, Alexander should be a first-team All-Pro.

We’ve already discussed Adams’ incredible season. He’s the top receiver in football this year.

Jenkins continues to leave everyone scratching their heads as to why he fell to the second round of the draft. According to PFF, he’s allowed just one sack this season. Add in the fact he’s played literally every position along the offensive line at some point this year, including filling in for center Corey Linsley last week. The only question is which position would Jenkins be an All-Pro for? He can do it all.

Linsley, too, is having an All-Pro season. The Packers’ longtime center has been dominant in 2020. According to ESPN, he ranks fourth among centers in pass block win rate and second in run block win rate. To be among the best in the league in both the pass and run game is outstanding.

All four players have been key to the Packers’ success this season and deserve to be All-Pros.

Next. Five Packers we should be thankful for in 2020. dark
