Kansas City Chiefs (at Buccaneers)

As things stand, it’s looking unlikely the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will win the NFC South. They are effectively two games behind the Saints as they lost both games to them. But they are still only a game behind in the standings and with Drew Brees out for at least two more games, it’s not out of the question that Tom Brady can lead his team to a division title.

When it comes to seeding, the Bucs hold a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Packers after their big win earlier in the season. As Green Bay defeated New Orleans, it would be a much better outcome if the Saints are the winners of the NFC South.

This is an ideal matchup for the Packers. The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the best teams in the NFL but don’t play in the same conference, so there’s no reason to not want a Chiefs victory.

If the Packers and Chiefs win, the Bucs would fall a game behind the Packers and their chances of winning the NFC South would also drop dramatically.

Perhaps the only reason you’d want the Chiefs to struggle is if you want Aaron Rodgers to win the NFL MVP award. In that case, a perfect game would be two Patrick Mahomes pick-sixes, but four rushing touchdowns as the Chiefs take down the Bucs while Rodgers lights up the Bears’ secondary on Sunday.
