4. Allen Lazard

After missing six games because of injury, Allen Lazard was eased back into action last Sunday playing only a portion of the offensive snaps and catching two passes on four targets.

With a game under his belt, Lazard is likely to see an increase in his reps. And the team could use it. I don’t think anyone would complain about another offensive weapon back on the field.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has played well in spurts but he has had far too many lapses in focus to be reliable.

In the game he was injured, Lazard looked like not only can he be reliable but also a difference-maker. That six-catch, 145-yard showing against New Orleans is still fresh in Packers fans minds despite the long layoff. And that was with Davante Adams out because of injury.

With Lazard, Adams, MVS, and tight end Robert Tonyan all healthy and on the field together, Aaron Rodgers will have the most receiving weapons he has had in some time. Throw in Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams out of the backfield, and the Packers have a set of playmakers capable of hanging 30 points on any defense.

But first, Lazard will have to show he is fully back from injury and he can start on Sunday night against a good Bears defense.
