3 reasons why the Packers will beat the Bears in Week 12

Why the Packers can beat the Bears in Week 12.
After suffering just their third loss of the year last Sunday in overtime against the Indianapolis Colts, the Green Bay Packers look to rebound against an offensively injury-riddled Chicago Bears team.
Let’s take a look at a few reasons why this can happen.
Reason #1: Despite losing, the Packers still control their own destiny
Green Bay showed it can put up points in a hurry on a great defense, as they put up 31 points against the Colts last Sunday, who to this point, own the league’s second best overall defense.
Even at 7-3 through the first 10 games, Green Bay still has a great shot at the top spot in the NFC. If New Orleans and Los Angeles lose one more game each with Green Bay winning on Sunday night against Chicago, they can find themselves back in the driver’s seat.
Reason #2: Rodgers’ dominance in the rivalry
Since Aaron Rodgers took over as a starter in 2008, he’s gone 19-5 against Chicago in 24 games played while throwing for 5,765 yards, 48 touchdowns, and just 10 interceptions, equating to a 102.9 passer rating.
Including last season’s wins, Green Bay under Rodgers has gone a combined 15-4 against Chicago since 2010 in the regular season (16-4 including playoffs). Even with Chicago’s most recent victory coming in Week 15 of 2018, I still don’t see them coming out on top this year, especially with how well Rodgers and the offense is playing right now.
Reason #3: Green Bay is playing at home
Green Bay’s record at home against Chicago since Rodgers took over as the starter is simply incredible. The record stands at 10-2 overall. Rodgers’ stats at home vs. Chicago are also impressive: 236/364 (65 percent) for 2,680 yards, 29 TDs, 4 INTs, and a 108.7 passer rating.
Simply put, under Rodgers, Green Bay very rarely loses to Chicago as it is, but it’s even tougher to do so at Lambeau Field.
Sunday night’s game will be the 201st overall contest in the rivalry with the current record being 99-95-6 in favor of the Packers. With a win on Sunday night, it would mark the 100th overall win in the rivalry for Green Bay, an accomplishment of epic proportions if they can get it done.
