Aaron Rodgers had a masterful game for the Packers on Sunday

Winner #1: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers continues to play at another level in 2020. The Bears have one of the best defenses in the entire NFL but Rodgers, and the rest of the Packers’ offense, were beating them the entire game.

Chicago’s defense looked lost as the Packers moved up and down the field all game. This win brought Rodgers’ record against the Bears to an insane 20-5. To put it bluntly, he owns Chicago. No matter who the coordinator is or whoever the personnel, Rodgers just seems to have very little trouble against this team, and as a Packers fan who lives in Chicago, I take great pride in watching.

Rodgers posted a passer rating of 132.3, threw for four touchdowns, and only had eight incompletions. I think it’s safe to say that Rodgers has been no worse than second-best when it comes to ranking the QBs this year.

After a couple of down years, Rodgers really seems to be revitalized in 2020. I don’t know if it was drafting Jordan Love that lit a fire under him, or just being much more comfortable in Matt LaFleur’s offense, maybe a little of both?

Either way, if the Packers can play this type of game from here on out they will be a very tough team to beat in the playoffs. No one knows how much longer Rodgers will be in the Green and Gold but it’s Super Bowl or bust as long as they have him. Games like the one they played against the Bears can show you just how dangerous this Packers team really can be.
