2. Preston Smith

Preston Smith has come alive over the last few games after being on the missing person’s report for most of 2020.

Against the Bears, Smith added another sack and a fumble return touchdown to his stat sheet.

This week the team may need more. Za’Darius Smith popped up on the injury report Thursday and then sat out practice Friday. Za’Darius has been battling an ankle injury all season long but this time it might hold him out of the game.

If Za’Darius can’t go, Preston and Rashan Gary will have to kick their games up a notch.Preston is the veteran between the two and is considered a leader amongst the unit. He will need to be the one to pick up the slack. Even if Za’Darius does play, it’s likely he will be hobbled and or limited.

The Eagles offensive line has been less than stellar and the Packers will need to take advantage.

Carson Wentz has struggled so badly the fans in Philly are calling for Jalen Hurts to get more playing time. Preston keeping up his hot streak will only make those calls louder.

It doesn’t matter wether it’s Hurts or Wentz, Green Bay will need to put pressure on the quarterback.

The offense is going to score and the defense will need to hold serve as the Eagles try to keep pace. As always, pressure on the quarterback is the best way.
