3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

How about a rematch with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lambeau Field?

The Bucs will almost certainly be a wild-card team and not NFC South winners this season, opening the door for a first-round trip to Lambeau. As thing stands, Tampa Bay is the sixth seed which would set up a matchup with the third seed. That could very well be Green Bay after Week 17.

OK, we all know what happened when these two teams met earlier in the season. But it would be close to impossible for the Packers to play that badly again.

The conditions of the game would be far different, for starters. Instead of being played in hot weather in Florida, it would most likely be frosty and cold in Wisconsin. Given the time of year, there could also be snow.

The Packers would also have learned a lot from that game earlier in the year.

Consecutive Aaron Rodgers interceptions turned the game on its head and the Packers seemed to lose their cool after that despite starting with a 10-0 lead. Rodgers has only thrown four picks all year, half of which came in back-to-back possessions.

There were also positives from that game. Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were held to 58 yards from six catches. The Packers started the game strong.

This would be a real challenge in the wild-card round but as we’ve seen, the Bucs are far from unbeatable.
