Aaron Rodgers reached another milestone in the Packers’ win.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers once again reached another career milestone by passing for 400 career touchdowns.

He achieved the goal in the third quarter on a Davante Adams’ 10-yard reception on firs-and-goal.

Along with that came another record. Rodgers also became the first player in NFL history to have five seasons of 35 or more passing touchdowns. Both feats are absolutely incredible achievements by Rodgers.

After the win, Rodgers spoke about those milestones to the media. Here’s what he had to say:

"“That was a special moment,” Rodgers said of reaching 400 career touchdowns.“It’s always interesting to see who gets the milestone throw, pretty cool that Davante [Adams] got it. I didn’t do a whole lot on that play, it was a really good scheme play. He did the whole thing and stiff-armed his way into the end zone. It’s fun to have those milestones in back-to-back weeks. Like I said last week, a lot of it is longevity but there also is some consistent play tied to it.”"

Rodgers understands how big of an accomplishment it is to reach that mark and in doing so, he did it in the least amount of games in NFL history (193).

Currently, Rodgers has 400 touchdown passes to just 88 interceptions, which equates to a 4.5/1 TD-INT ratio. It’s absolutely incredible that the consistent elite level of play from Rodgers is happening at age 37.

He is squarely in and probably deserves to be at the top of the MVP discussion. It’s currently a two-horse race right now between Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, although Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry deserves an honorable mention. Green Bay faces Tennessee in Week 16 so it’s definitely an important step to try to keep the momentum going heading into the home stretch of regular season.

Overall, the game itself was a great win for Green Bay as a team. As it stands now, the Packers are the two-seed behind New Orleans in the NFC playoff picture. If Green Bay wins three of its final four games with New Orleans losing two of its final four games, Green Bay would end up as the one-seed due to their tie-breaking win over the Saints back in Week 3.

These final games are absolutely crucial for Green Bay to keep up their momentum. Having the NFC come through Lambeau Field in January is what I believe the key is for the Packers to reach the Super Bowl this season. Time will tell whether or not that comes to fruition.

Things are definitely trending in the right direction as of late — which is a great thing for Green Bay’s postseason aspirations.
