Packers: Three winners from Week 13 win over Eagles
By Cody Young
Nathaniel Hackett has probably earned himself a head coaching job next season
Winner #3: Nathaniel Hackett
It’s no secret that the offense has been playing at another level this season and one of the people who will be rewarded for that is Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett is in his second year as the Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator and while Matt LaFleur is the creator of the offense, Hackett still has a fingerprint on it as well.
Sunday was no different, the offense looked outstanding after a little bit of a slow start in the first quarter. It seemed like all the stars of the offense showed out on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, and Robert Tonyan were all getting featured against the Eagles.
Many of the players have spoken of the respect they have for their offensive coordinator. Rodgers in particular has seemed to develop quite the relationship with Hackett and has gone out of his way to endorse him multiple times.
Hackett has been an OC at a few different places, having some pretty decent success with the Jaguars. Hackett served as their offensive coordinator for a few years and was a part of their 2017 AFC championship team. Hackett has already been rumored to have garnered some interest from the Falcons for a head coaching spot and will surely be receiving more after the season.
