Week 17: at Chicago Bears

With the NFC North title is wrapped up by this point, will Matt LaFleur rest the starters in Week 17? It’ll depend on whether the Packers are still in play for the number one seed or whether a loss could mean they drop down in the NFC standings.

If not, we could see the Tim Boyle Laser Show at Soldier Field.

However, we’ll assume they still have something to play for.

Home or away, right now it’s hard to see anything other than a Packers victory over the Chicago Bears. The Bears look like a team that’s given up on the season after losing six in a row, including a 41-25 defeat to the Packers.

I don’t expect quite the same number of points in this game with it being played on the road and potentially in frozen temperatures, but I’m still going for a comfortable Packers victory.

By running the table, Green Bay’s regular season finishes in similar style to last year with a 13-3 record. It was good for the NFC’s second seed a year ago. Would a 13-3 record lead the Packers to the top seed and a week off this time around?

What’s your prediction for the final four games of the regular season?

Prediction: Green Bay 27, Chicago 14 (13-3)
