Takeaways from the Packers’ NFC North-clinching victory.

With their victory on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers are NFC North champions with three games still to be played.

The Packers have been dominant in the division this season, winning four of their five games against NFC North opponents. Their sights are now on the first seed which they’ll earn with three more wins to close out the regular season.

It wasn’t a complete game from Green Bay in Detroit. In the end, the victory was by just seven points. As ever, the Lions gave the Packers a tough game. When they needed to, Green Bay came up with crucial plays and the offense was able to close out the game a late on to seal the win.

With this victory, the Packers improve to 10-3 with a chance to match last season’s 13-3 record.

Before we get into the top three takeaways from the game, I want to give a shoutout to Mason Crosby. Despite the Packers’ special teams continuing to struggle, he remains consistent, converting kick after kick. And on Sunday, he made a 57-yarder look easy. It was an important moment in the game and Crosby delivered as he always does.

Now, let’s get into the takeaways.
