Kevin King: Walks

Cornerback will be one of the Packers’ biggest needs in the offseason as they’ll likely be looking to replace Kevin King. Has King done enough in a contract year to earn a new deal with the Packers?

King has been a solid starter in the secondary his entire career in Green Bay, but he’s also missed a lot of time to injury including five games this season.

Jaire Alexander is a star and one of the best at his position in the NFL. But the Packers could be searching for a new starter opposite Alexander in the spring.

Lane Taylor: Walks

Lane Taylor has suffered two season-ending injuries the past two years. He had been playing at a high level again after earning a starting job this season, too.

Is it possible Taylor returns on an affordable one-year deal? Absolutely, and I’d love to see it. Taylor did take a pay cut earlier this offseason. But at 31 coming off an ACL tear, and considering how well the offensive line has played this year, the Packers could move on.

Billy Winn: Re-signs

Billy Winn is currently on injured reserve and played just 41 defensive snaps this year, according to Pro Football Reference. But Winn also did a lot well in the limited time he’s played, including tipping a pass which led to an interception against the Indianapolis Colts. The Packers bring him back on a one-year deal.
