Week 17

Packers at Bears

With the Packers having the number one seed wrapped up, Matt LaFleur pulls out the starters and gives them a much-needed rest after playing 11 weeks in a row. With this week to rest, as well as a bye week to come, the team would be able to get healthy ahead of the divisional round. In the meantime, it means a division loss on the road against the Chicago Bears. Winner: Chicago

Saints at Panthers

With a chance to wrap-up the second seed, giving the Saints a home matchup with the seventh seed in the wild-card round, they get the job done with a victory over the Panthers. Winner: New Orleans

Seahawks at 49ers

The Seahawks enter Week 17 in first place of the NFC West due to a better divisional record, but they’d need a win to guarantee they stay there. Against the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle reverses the result of their meeting in the season finale a year ago, holding on for the all-important win. Winner: Seattle

Rams vs. Cardinals

The Rams also do their part, getting the victory over the Cardinals to finish the season 11-5. Unfortunately for Los Angeles, it’s good for just a wild-card berth and potential matchup with the NFC East winner in the wild-card round. Winner: Los Angeles

Final standings

  1. Packers (12-4)
  2. Saints (12-4)
  3. Seahawks (11-5)
