The Packers meet the Panthers on Saturday night.

A great opportunity is in front of the Green Bay Packers. By going undefeated in the final three games, they can secure the NFC’s top seed, a first-round playoff bye, and home-field advantage.

It starts this weekend with the return fo Saturday Night Football at home against the Carolina Panthers.

Matt LaFleur often talks about going 1-0 each week and not looking too far ahead. That couldn’t be more important right now. In front of the Packers is the possibility of securing home-field advantage in the postseason for the first time in nearly a decade. But they can’t be looking too far ahead.

Lose one of their remaining three games and the opportunity could be gone.

All LaFleur and his team can do is focus on each individual game as they come, starting on Saturday against the Panthers.

Carolina is likely to be without running back Christian McCaffrey again this week. He’s listed as doubtful on the injury report.

Will we see another big performance from Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams? Can Aaron Jones have a big game like in last year’s win over the Panthers when he scored three touchdowns?

The Packers already have the NFC North title secure. A home playoff game is waiting. The question now is which seed will the team get and can they skip the wild-card round completely?

The Packers are red-hot and playing some incredible football on offense. If that can continue on Saturday, they should have no trouble getting past a struggling Panthers team.
