Top Packers performers from Week 16 win vs. Titans.

The Green Bay Packers finally did it. After 16 weeks, the team finally put together a complete performance. In a dominating beatdown of the Tennessee Titans, Green Bay showed just how important home-field advantage can be.

The conditions were Green Bay perfect. Temperatures were below freezing, the snow started falling before the game and continued throughout. The field was slippery and while the Packers knew what to do, Tennessee looked like they would rather be any where but Northeastern Wisconsin.

Sunday night showed just why even in the season of irregular, having home-field advantage will be important.

Green Bay ran right through the heart of the Titans’ defense, totaling over 200 yards on the ground while the passing game didn’t miss a beat despite the conditions.

In the 40-14 beatdown, the Packers came one step closer to capturing that all-important number one seed and first-round bye.

Coming into the game everyone knew the Titans would ride NFL leading rusher Derrick Henry, and there would be little the Packers defense would be able to do to stop it.

Instead, Green Bay showed the last month of good defense wasn’t as much of a product of who they were facing, but it was a team coming together and figuring things out. The defense has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in four straight games after being torn apart on the ground for the better part of the season.

Mike Pettine and crew didn’t stop with Henry. Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed less than 50 percent of his passes while also throwing two interceptions.

There was a lot to like about this game. The team didn’t let its foot off the gas on offense or defense and cruised to a big win. These five performances stood out the most.
